I have been dying to read this book and I was not disappointed. I was so excited.
This is one thing I look for in a book. I want to be spellbound. I want to sink my teeth into the characters & take myself into their world. To feel this kind of emotion is phenomenal & not something I can feel with every book I read. The author did that with the 3 books in this trilogy.

packed with heat !!

I have been waiting for this book for what feels like an age!
I feel very lucky to have been offered the chance of receiving an ARC prior to release.
This is the third book in the Pretty series and yet again is another captivating read to complete the story of Kate and Kai.
In my previous review of book 2 I stated this series was "a perfect combination of Aladdin meets Romeo and Juliet" well for me this third book also throws in a dash of Cinderella too.
Kate is from a completely different world to Kai and their relationship is against some huge hurdles, in particular the cultural difference where Kai's father doesn't approve of his choice in women. I loved this sinister side and wanted more of the story that was behind the scheming and plotting to evict Kate from Kai's life, however I get the feeling there's perhaps more than was revealed and maybe a novella in the future Ms Alam? ;)
I was almost anticipating with every turn of the page there would be a discovery of something to shock me that's how much this book kept me on my toes!!
The exotic location and the heat of the passion between these two characters is enough to pull you into the setting and grip you , Mix this with the peppering of hilarious humour the author brings and it's a winning combination.
An amazing series that's well worth clicking !!

My favorite of the 3 books in the trilogy

Pretty Things is the 3rd book in the Pretty Trilogy. I was more than pleased with the way the author ended Kai & Kate’s story.
I must confess that I had to go back & read the final chapter of Pretty Liar to remind me of the ending because quite frankly I was so pissed & confused at Kai’s attitude & behavior at the beginning of Pretty Things. He was behaving like a total jerk. Ugggh, I wanted to throw my Kindle at him. At the end of Pretty Liar, Kai seemed to be so in love with Kate. His words blew me away. There was so much love there. I then started reading Pretty Things & he is treating Kate like a jerk. I couldn’t understand where it all came from. I just had to keep reading.
This is one thing I look for in a book. I want to be spellbound. I want to sink my teeth into the characters & take myself into their world. To feel this kind of emotion is phenomenal & not something I can feel with every book I read. The author did that with the 3 books in this trilogy. I look forward to future books by this author.

Seductive

You will recall that we were left hanging at the end of book 2. And we have had to wait MONTHS to read the final volume in the trilogy. The question is, was it worth the wait? Well, on the whole, yes.
The pacing of this book was frenetic, and this meant that I was, on the odd occasion, a little confused. And, given everything that had happened in the previous books, I was constantly expecting something bad to happen. And it is testament to the strength of the storyline created by Ms Alam that I felt the need to hold my breath as often as I did.
More often however, I was simply wrapped up in Kate's insecurities, ensconced in the world and relationship imagined by the author.
And once again, the side characters played a pivotal role in the unfolding of this seductive final volume. My favourite? Kate's mum. Without a doubt. She is hilarious.
A fitting end to the trilogy.
